Cycling distance monitor

Short note.  Came in tonight from my road bike cycling a little lighter simply because of some illness this week and I think I hurt my heart a bit on Monday having pushed it so far.

Must look into this idea of a “recovery ride

Anyway, I used the new bit of route that I added on Monday, and explored the new second circuit which had moved me from 18 miles to 27 miles.  That took me to an interesting and fun 20 miles which I completed in 90 minutes, which was ideal for the way I felt, and gave me some good hills to work on as well as some nice long pulls up the local geography.

The Lancashire Mistral* was a bit strong, and before now, even when I was younger, I would have hated it.  Now that I am not in such a rush and just wanted to enjoy it I simply used the gears to tackle the head winds.
