The after picture 

The short version

  • 40 year old married man, two kids, a wife and a dog
  • Full time employed, training to be a vicar in my spare time, part-time artist, cyclist, former weight-trainer
  • Slight heart condition…
  • Technically overweight because I have lifted weights for over quarter of a century, so have a lot of muscle
  • And a little blubber too…
  • Can no longer lift weights because I have too many injuries
  • Have to do some sort of sport for the sake of keeping my heart healthy…and nothing else works apart from lifting weights and…
  • Cycling! Now returning to an old sport from before I lifted weights, cycling, for health reasons
  • Need to lose body mass so that I can sit in the saddle for longer!
  • Love cycling, all the techy bits, the speed, the risks, the friendships!
  • Started this blog to keep me focussed, and hopefully support some friends along the way
